Me and by BETA Team are doing a lot of tests prior we release a new SIMstarter version. But although as multi-billion dollar payware it is possible, that SIMstarter has a bug. In this case this article explain how to revert to your backup files (if Backup Option in SIMstarter is &#8222;checked&#8220;)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Switch to your SIMstarter directory. For example &#8222;D:\\FSX\\SIMstarter&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;ll find a directory called &#8222;Backup&#8220; with a copy of your fsx.cfg and scenery.cfg with a timestamp prefix. For example &#8222;FSX_201437708_fsx.cfg&#8220; and &#8222;FSX_201437708_scenery.cfg&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>These files are a one-by-one copy of your fsx.cfg and scenery.cfg<\/li>\n<li>Just copy them back to the right directorys\n<ul>\n<li>for FSX Users:\n<ul>\n<li>FSX_201437708_fsx.cfg &gt;&gt;&gt;\u00a0C:\\Users\\&lt;USERNAME&gt;\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\FSX\\fsx.cfg<\/li>\n<li>FSX_201437708_scenery.cfg &gt;&gt;&gt;\u00a0C:\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\FSX\\scenery.cfg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>for PREPAR3D Users:\n<ul>\n<li>PREPAR3D_201437708_prepar3d.cfg &gt;&gt;&gt; C:\\Users\\&lt;USERNAME&gt;\\AppData\\Roaming\\Lockheed Martin\\Prepar3D v2\\prepar3d.cfg<\/li>\n<li>PREPAR3D_201437708_scenery.cfg &gt;&gt;&gt;\u00a0C:\\ProgramData\\Lockheed Martin\\Prepar3D v2\\scenery.cfg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Done. Mein BETA Team und ich testen jede SIMstarter Version bevor sie released wird. Aber auch Multi-Millionen Euro Software kann Fehler enthalten. Auch SIMstarter kann also einen Fehler haben. Dieser Beitrag soll helfen, in einem solchen Fall, die durch SIMstarter ver\u00e4nderten Dateien wieder herzustellen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Wechsel in das SIMstarter Verzeichnis\u00a0&#8222;D:\\FSX\\SIMstarter&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>Dort findest Du im Verzeichnis &#8222;Backup&#8220; die gesicherten Dateien mit einem vorangestellen Datum Prefix.
